Spectrum is a 5 foot high floor standing weight driven clock with a Graham Deadbeat escapement and a royal pendulum
All the wheels are hand cut on a band saw.
It also has an auto rewind mechanism which uses the Huygens endless rope system, in this case a beaded chain. The weight has a magnet on the bottom and triggers a magnetic switch at the bottom of its travel. An electric motor in the chain system then runs for 30 seconds. This is sufficient to power the clock for 40 minutes.
